Dorset Care Homes Association (DCHA) is a dynamic member-led association. Our primary role is to represent and support independent providers of residential and nursing care for older people and adults with disabilities in Bournemouth, Dorset & Poole, working alongside commissioners to achieve the provision of high quality, safe services.
DCHA provides a valuable channel of communication, facilitating the exchange of information and ideas and the sharing of best practice amongst our members. We act as a voice for care providers and make sure that their skill and expertise are used effectively to achieve positive outcomes.
DCHA currently represents over 130 homes in Bournemouth, Dorset & Poole which represents 4,000 beds and we are continually growing and evolving as like-minded providers join the association to achieve collaborative aims. To join us please click here.
The DCHA also offers help and advice to MEMBERS of the PUBLIC by providing links to other care information web sites. These offer particular information on what to look for when choosing a home and explaining some of the funding questions that always appear to be confusing to interpret if not encountered before. Members of DCHA provide details of their own care homes (all categories) to assist anyone searching for a care facility for either themselves or their loved ones in Dorset.
